I'm sure you're tired of hearing about this damn shrug...

But I'd like input on the edging. I originally planned to use the leftover yarn from the shorties, so it would be a little matching outfit. Now I'm wondering if I shouldn't do it all one color, to go with more things (not that the red/pink wouldn't match half her wardrobe). Both yarns can be seen worked up here.

Thoughts?

I love little knit outfits that has a trim matching something else. Since she has lots of pink things, it's not like it will severely limit the clothes she can wear it with. :)

That's true. Since the trim has red and white in it, it will actually make the shrug match some of her strawberry stuff a little bit better.

What about having the shrug all one colour but then doing some sort of flower type decoration with the hand painted yarn?
